Recent political events spur interest in historical ones

Whether you like the outcome of the 2004 presidential election or not, the fervor leading up to it offers some useful glimpses into the civic-mindedness of people in this country.

The Gallatin Ministerial Alliance Community Thanksgiving service here in Gallatin Sunday evening was such a fine tribute to our Lord, our faith, our purpose and our community as we all joined together under one roof. Friends and neighbors from all denominations came togther to give thanks.
