Sheriff’s Office

William G. Garrens, 48, Gallatin, was charged Oct. 20 with the Class C felony of assault second degree. He is being held at Midwest Security Housing on $35,000 bond.

James H. Purcell, 35, Kansas City, was arrested Oct. 24 for misdemeanor possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. He is also being held at Midwest Security Housing on no bond for a felony Johnson County, Kan., warrant for non-support.

Defendants found guilty in the Associate Division of the Circuit Court of Daviess County are listed below with the offense and fine assessed. Additionally, court costs collected for the State of Missouri amount to $66.50 for moving traffic violations, and $114.50 in most criminal cases.

Traffic Fines Paid by Mail

The following are traffic cases which were heard in the Associate Division of the Circuit Court of Daviess County involving a plea of guilty without contest and payment of the standard fine plus court costs. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside outside of Missouri was $2,601 for 31 tickets. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside in Missouri was $2,170 for 31 cases.
