Some ATV thefts solved with 3 arrests

Harry and Brett Olsen, 17, Winston, and Jason Brown, 17, Gallatin, have been arrested in connection with the theft of ATVs which were reported stolen last week. The Olsens were charged June 25 with the Class C felony of stealing. Brown was charged June 28 with two counts of stealing, Class C felony. All three are being held at Midwest Security Housing on $25,000 bond each.

Kevin Lawson, 27, has been sworn in as a new deputy at the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department

Kevin Lawson, 27, has been sworn in as a new deputy at the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputy Lawson graduated from Gilman City High School in 1995. After that, he served for eight years in the Army Reserves. He graduated this year from Missouri Western State College Law Enforcement Academy.
