Tamera Willis, 21, Excelsior Springs, was charged May 18 with failure to appear on five felony charges, Class B felony possession of controlled substance, two counts of the Class D felony unlawful use of a weapon, Class C felony burglary 2nd degree, and Class C felony stealing. North Daviess R-3 funding improves; employees receive raise

Basic Formula projections during the regular meeting of the North Daviess R-3 Board of Education held May 17.

Superintendent Julie Kirby presented Basic Formula projections during the regular meeting of the North Daviess R-3 Board of Education held May 17. The state legislature has improved the allocation for funding of the public schools. Basic Formula levels for fiscal year 2005 will rise to those of fiscal year 2003.
