Gallatin FCCLA members Haleigh Tague and Whitney Wright were given the opportunity to participate in the Legislative Shadowing Project on March 2 and 3. Through the project, the FCCLA members were able to witness first hand the process of interpreting and setting public policy focused on family, work, and social issues
Traffic Fines Paid by Mail
The following are traffic cases which were heard in the Associate Division of the Circuit Court of Daviess County involving a plea of guilty without contest and payment of the standard fine plus court costs. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside outside of Missouri was $2,039 for 28 tickets. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside in Missouri was $1,271.50 for 20
Sarah Dowell was granted a dissolution of marriage from Jack Dowell on March 25 by Judge Warren McElwain.
In State vs. Scott D. Virtue, heard March 26 before Judge Stephen Griffin, the defendant entered guilty pleas to one count of attempt to manufacture a controlled substance, Class B felony, and one count of resisting arrest, Class D felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered.
