Two arrested for theft at MFA; several burglaries reported

Harold R. Burnett Sr., 47, Polo, and Lyle E. Nieman, 40, Hamilton, were arrested Oct. 21 and each charged with the Class C felony of possession of chemicals with intent to manufacture a controlled substance and the Class B felony of attempted theft of anhydrous ammonia. They were arrested behind MFA Agri-Services on Highway 6 in Gallatin. Both men are being held at Midwest Security Housing

County Commission

James Lewis, bridge supervisor, met with the commission reporting that the concrete is being poured at the low-water crossing in Harrison Township.

Bob Burnett and Clint Mason, Snyder and Associates, engineering firm, met with the commission to submit the preliminary draft of BRO project (25) on CART road 203. They will meet with landowners to obtain easements.
