Twelve 7th graders qualify for Talent Search

Twelve seventh graders from Gallatin R-5 School have been tapped for Duke University’s Talent Identification Program

Twelve seventh graders from Gallatin R-5 School have been tapped for Duke University’s Talent Identification Program for 2003-04. The student’s qualified for the TIP program based upon test scores in the top five percent on verbal or math subtests or the Stanford Achievement Test.

Dating back to 1980, TIP had identified academically talented students

Jewell student project recognized at AMA National Conference

Kara Sullenger, a junior business administration major, helped write a successful grant application

Kara Sullenger, a junior business administration major, helped write a successful grant application that was honored with a $1,000 award at the 25th annual collegiate international American Marketing Association conference in New Orleans, La., March 13-15.

Kara is a 2001 graduate of Gallatin High School and the daughter of John and Mary Sullenger.
