County Commission

James Lewis, bridge supervisor, met with the commission reporting that they are beginning tube replacements around the county. He also reviewed the county bridge inventory reports with the clerk and the commission, making some corrections.

Wilbur Bush, Gallatin resident, met with the commission questioning any records on the slave and pauper cemeteries located on the south end of town. No one present had any knowledge of any records in storage.

Associate Circuit Court

Defendants found guilty in the Associate Division of the Circuit Court of Daviess County are listed below with the offense and fine assessed. Additionally, court costs collected for the State of Missouri amount to $62.50 for moving traffic violations, and $77.50 in most criminal cases:

Alex C. Carroll, Gallatin, driving while intoxicated, 90 days jail, suspended execution of sentence, 2 years probation, 5 days shock time; failure to drive on

Traffic Fines Paid by Mail

The following are traffic cases which were heard in the Associate Division of the Circuit Court of Daviess County involving a plea of guilty without contest and payment of the standard fine plus court costs. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside outside of Missouri was $1,447.50 for 17 tickets. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside in Missouri was $655 for 9 cases. Adult Abuse / Stalking

A full order of protection was entered for petitioner Mandi Boehm against respondent Jarrod Boehm on Aug. 19, 2003. The order replaces the Ex Parte Order of Protection entered Aug. 5, 2003, and will be effective until Aug. 19, 2004.
