Two county residents named to Graceland honor list

Earning inclusion on the President’s List were Candy Hughes of Gallatin and Brenda M. Pliley of Jamesport.

The honor roll lists for the first term of the academic year at Graceland University’s College of Professional Studies sites have been announced.

Students in the CPS program attend classes on a five-term year. Those who achieved a perfect, 4.0 grade point average were named to the president’s list; those on the honors

Laura Youtsey won first place Ladies Lead at the Daviess County Livestock Sheep Show.

Laura Youtsey, a member of the Gallatin FFA, won first place Ladies Lead at the Daviess County Livestock Sheep Show. She also won first place at Clinton, Ray and Carroll Counties. Laura received three second place awards and one third place award.
