Family Daze: Amazing things mothers do

After raising children all these years I’ve noticed a basic universal truth: Mothers will do extraordinary strange things, that no sane childless person would ever consider doing.

John Scott “Scotty” Kane, 76, Waverly, Kan., died Monday, June 23, 2003, at Newman Hospital in Emporia, Kan.

Traffic stop results in discovery of six pounds of marijuana

Associate Circuit Court

Defendants found guilty in the Associate Division of the Circuit Court of Daviess County are listed below with the offense and fine assessed. Additionally, court costs for the State of Missouri amount to $62.50 for moving traffic violations and $77.50 in most criminal cases.

Traffic Fines Paid by Mail

There were 44 traffic cases heard in the Associate Division of the Circuit Court of Daviess County involving a plea of guilty without contest and payment of the standard fine plus court costs. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside outside of Missouri was $2,020 for 28 tickets. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside in Missouri was $850 for 16 cases.
