Kara Sullenger, daughter of John and Mary Sullenger, will study at Harlaxton College near Grantham, England

Kara Sullenger, daughter of John and Mary Sullenger, will study at Harlaxton College near Grantham, England, for the spring 2004 semester. Kara is a junior business administration major at William Jewell College in Liberty.

Students have the opportunity to study overseas at a variety of locations, including England, Ireland, Japan, Australia and Mexico.

County Commission

James Lewis, bridge supervisor, met with the commission reporting that the culvert replacements are nearly complete.

David Tolen reported that he had inspected the CART rock delivered to Jackson Township and James Lewis had tested the rock, finding it acceptable.

Traffic Fines Paid by Mail

There were 44 traffic cases heard in the Associate Division of the Circuit Court of Daviess County involving a plea of guilty without contest and payment of the standard fine plus court costs. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside outside of Missouri was $2,020 for 28 tickets. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside in Missouri was $850 for 16 cases.
