Irma M. Griffin celebrates 90th birthday

Irma M. Griffin will soon celebrate her 90th birthday on April 5.

Irma M. Griffin will soon celebrate her 90th birthday on April 5. Irma was born in Daviess County in 1913. She was a school teacher for 31 years, teaching in Jameson, Gilman City and Trenton schools.

As a homemaker, she raised two sons, John and Bob. Her sons and their families will honor her with an open house

NCMC drama presents “Harvey”

Jesse Lent of Gallatin plays a cab driver.

The drama department at North Central Missouri College will present the classic comedy Harvey by Mary Chase on April 4 and 5 in the Hoover Theatre of the Grundy County Library. Dennis Souders

Dennis Craig Souders, 46, Jamesport, died Wednesday, March 19, at the Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

Memorial graveside services for Dennis Souders were held Tuesday, March 25, at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Arrangements were by McWilliams Funeral Home, Jamesport.

Dennis Craig Souders, 46, Jamesport, died Wednesday, March 19, at the Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

Mr. Souders was born May 10, 1956, to Virgil E. and Betty “Holley” Souders.

Carl D. Hale

Carl Dean Hale, 76, Jamesport, died Thursday, March 20, 2003.

Funeral services for Carl Dean Hale were held Saturday at the Baptist Church, Jamesport. Burial was at Memorial Cemetery, Jamesport. Arrangements were by McWilliams Family Funeral Home, Jamesport. Memorials may be made to the Jamesport Baptist Church.

Mr. Hale was born May 8, 1926 in Warrensburg.
