A Lake Viking man was seriously injured in an accident Monday afternoon at Lake Viking.

The accident occurred as Robert Harryman, 67, lost control of a 2001 Kawasaki Quadrunner on an embankment. The four-wheeler rolled over on the driver and came to rest on top of him.

Jackson Henry Hunt Minnick

Young wrestlers participate in Savannah Tournament

The team continued its success with many wrestlers earning medals

The Gallatin USA Youth Wrestling participated in the Savannah Invitational Tournament on Dec. 28. The team continued its success with many wrestlers earning medals for 1st through 3rd places. The team took 14 wrestlers to Savannah with the following results:

1st Place: Steven Wood (12 and under), Cody Selby (12 and under), Levi Michener (10 and under).

Students at Covel D. Searcy Elementary are invited to attend the annual pee wee wrestling mini camp

Students at Covel D. Searcy Elementary are invited to attend the annual pee wee wrestling mini camp and tournament for children kindergarten through sixth grade.
