Students earn spot on SWMSU dean’s list

Kristy Youtsey, Altamont; Shannon Batson, Kelly Story, Ryan Taverna and Andrew Weldon, all of Gallatin.

Each semester, students at Southwest Missouri State University who attain academic excellence are named to the dean’s list. For undergraduate students, criteria include enrollment in at least 12 credit hours during the fall semester and maintaining at least a 3.5 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).

Trustees of North Central Missouri College approved a long-range campus master plan and accepted the resignation of a basketball coach as a part of their monthly meeting Dec. 19 in Trenton.

A proposal for campus expansion and development was endorsed by College Trustees providing long-range plans for the college campus

Carolyn J. Heide

Carolyn June Heide, 50, Raytown, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, at Truman Medical Center Lakewood, Kansas City.

Funeral services for Carolyn J. Heide, formerly of Gallatin, were held Monday at McWilliams Family Funeral Home in Gallatin. Burial was at Brown Cemetery, Gallatin. Memorials may be made to Cody C. Heide Memorial Scholarship Fund.
