R-3 Advisory Committee hears from vocational departments

Each of the vocational departments including business, Family and Consumer Science, and agriculture were reviewed by the committee.

Toni Cox, club leader of the Brushy Squirrels 4-H Club, opened the event with a welcome.

Dr. Story visits fourth grade

Dr. Story asked the students to list the classes they studied.

Business partner Dr. Eugene Story visited Mrs. Jarboe’s fourth grade classroom on Oct. 22. Dr. Story asked the students to list the classes they studied.

He then took each class and explained how he used information learned during his education as he worked as a veterinarian. Students were amazed that every class was used during his work day.

Clair Runyan

Clair Runyan, 77, Bethany, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2002, at his home.

Funeral services for Clair Runyan were held Monday at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany. Burial with military rites, was at Kidwell Cemetery, Martinsville. Memorial contributions may be made to Harrison County Hospice and/or the United Methodist Church, Martinsville.

Clair Runyan, 77, Bethany, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2002, at his home.
