Watch children’s television habits during September 11 anniversary

No further news about body discovered here last week

As of press time, there have been no further developments to report about the unidentified body which was discovered north of Gallatin last week. No identification has been made, and no further charges have been filed. The investigation is continuing.

Jacob L. Wildman of Winston reported Aug. 17 that a burglary had occurred at his residence some time between 7 p.m. Aug. 16 and 12:30 p.m.

County Commission

Daniel Lynn, bridge supervisor, and James Lewis, foreman, met with the commission reporting plans to reduce the weight limit on bridge 1970007 to 3 ton at 10 mph. This bridge is on 185thStreet, section 9, in Sheridan Township.

The commission compared insurance coverage to the inventory, making changes where necessary. They also discussed brush removal at bridge sites.
