Winston Speedway–August 24, 2002—

It was a group of very familiar names in the winner’s circle Saturday night at the Winston Speedway and between them they have won 47 feature shows at the speedway.

Two of the winners won twice. The cars of Dean Wray of Trenton and his son Cory Wray went through a teardown after the race and both were declared as legal by track

Gallatin’s Lady Bulldogs squeezed out a one-run victory in the final at-bat

For the second year in a row, Gallatin’s Lady Bulldogs squeezed out a one-run victory in the final at-bat of their season opener. Gallatin rallied for one run in the 6th inning and added the game- winner with 2 outs in the 7th to down Milan, 4-3, in front of a large opening-day crowd of supporters.
