Opry returns to Hamilton

Rochelle Allwood and band will return to the Hamilton Community Arts Theater

Rochelle Allwood and band will return to the Hamilton Community Arts Theater on Saturday, April 6. This popular county music group packed the house in early February. Twelve-year-old fiddler, Eric Longstreet, will make a guest appearance.

Lake Viking Homemakers met March 14 at the clubhouse. Hostesses were Ina Reznor, Lucille Foster and Mona Brown. Allen Wesley Scott Dutro

Dana Dutro is proud to announce the birth of her son, Allen Wesley Scott Dutro. Allen was born at 12:09 a.m. on March 23, 2002 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton. He weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

He is the first grandson of Donald and Donna Dutro. And the first blood nephew of Eddie Dutro, Jeremy Dutro, Jennifer Redman and Richard Dutro, all of Gallatin.

One vehicle accidents result in injuries

Accident reports

Anita Peek, 37, and her daughter, Krystal Peek, 15, of Pattonsburg, received moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident in Daviess County at about 5 p.m. on March 25, according to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred as Anita Peek was driving a 1995 Jeep northbound on I-35, two miles south of Pattonsburg. She lost control on an ice covered bridge. The vehicle struck the

North Daviess Service Club

Pennies for Patients program

During the month of February, the North Daviess Service Club sponsored the Pennies for Patients program which raises money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The high school and elementary collected money in cans decorated by the Service Club.

The final collection from both schools was $78.82. The elementary students donated the most money with $53.06. The high school raised $26.76.
