Juanita Stark, 94, Gallatin, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2001, at a Gallatin health-care center.

Funeral services for Juanita Stark were held at 2:30 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany. Burial is at Civil Bend Christian Cemetery in Pattonsburg. Family visitation is

from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. today at the funeral home, where friends may call after 9 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Stark/Thomas Scholarship Fund

Velma (Pierce) Wharton, 95, Stanberry, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2001, at a Stanberry health-care center.

Funeral services for Velma Wharton, co-owner and operator of Wharton Hardware of Pattonsburg, were held Saturday at Roberson-Polley Chapel in Stanberry. Burial was at High Ridge Cemetery, Stanberry.

Velma (Pierce) Wharton, 95, Stanberry, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2001, at a Stanberry health-care center.

A homemaker, Mrs. Wharton was born in Stanberry.
