Gallatin receives grant to renovate pool

In the regular meeting of the Gallatin Board of Aldermen

The city has received a grant award in the amount of $45,088.00 to renovate the municipal pool facility, according to a report by City Administrator Jason Helton during the regular meeting of the Gallatin Board of Aldermen held Feb. 26 at City Hall. The grant followed an application submitted in June 2000 to the Department of Natural Resources.

I don’t think I’ve liked the phone company since they did away with the party line. I wasn’t a fan of the party line but it’s been than long since I’ve liked the phone company.

Trouble is, every new whing-whang they add to the phone service seems to add two things: profit for them and irritation for me.
