Child abuse and substance abuse hotline call

Sheriff’s Office

On Feb. 20, the sheriff’s office, along with the Department of Family Services, responded to a hotline call in the Pattonsburg area. The incident involved child abuse and substance abuse. All reports have been forwarded to the prosecuting attorney.

A 26-year-old Gallatin man was arrested Feb. 21 for speeding and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He posted bond and was released.

Trouble is, every new whing-whang they add to the phone service seems to add two things: profit for them and irritation for me.
