Ray Barker

Ray Barker, 92, St. Joseph, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at a St. Joseph hospital.

Funeral services for Ray Barker were held Monday, Jan. 29, 2001, at Meierhoffer Family Funeral Service. Interment was at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorial gifts to Hands of Hope Hospice, Ashland United Methodist Church, or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Carolyn (Coberly) Ellis, 77, Trenton, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2001, at a health-care center in Trenton.

Funeral services for Carolyn Ellis, a native of Gallatin, were held Saturday, Jan. 27, at the First Christian Church in Trenton, with arrangements by Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home of Trenton.

Burial was at the Brown Cemetery in Gallatin. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the First Christian Church in Trenton.

Blanche M. Jeffries, 102, Pattonsburg, formerly of Maysville, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001, at an area health care center.

Funeral services for Blanche Jeffries were held Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001, at the Roberson Funeral Home in Pattonsburg. Burial was in Riggs Cemetery, Weatherby. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.

Brice and Cydney Terry of Gallatin wish to announce the birth of their son, Tayton Dean. He was born at 1:03 a.m. on Dec. 20, 2000, at Heartland Health Systems in St. Joseph.
