Accepting declarations of candidacy

City of Pattonsburg

City of Pattonsburg will be accepting declarations of candidacy for the April 3, 2001 Election. Vacancies to be filled are for the offices of Mayor – 2 year term; one (1) Westward Alderman and one (1) Eastward Alderman. Candidates may file at Pattonsburg Municipal Building/City Hall from 8 a.m., December 19, 2000 until 5 p.m., January 16, 2001.

Holly Garnett has been selected an ambassador for MU College of Human Environmental Sciences.

Holly Garnett, a sophomore at the University of Missouri-Columbia, has been selected to serve as an ambassador for the College of Human Environmental Sciences. GHS wrestlers to Marceline Thursday

Gallatin wrestlers travel to Marceline to take on Tigers.

Gallatin wrestlers open the 2000-2001 season on Thursday when they

travel to Marceline to take on the Tigers in dual action. The

Bulldogs will fill 13 of 14 weight classes to start the season and

will fill all 14 after the Christmas break.

This year’s Bulldog wrestling squad, coached by Barron Gann,

includes 2 seniors among 16 wrestlers on the squad.

Lady Panthers win 45-39 over Stewartsville. Panther boys fall to Cardinals, 72-53.

The Pattonsburg Lady Panthers moved to 2-0 on the season Tuesday

night after a 45-39 non-conference victory over Stewartsville. The

Panther boys absorbed their first loss of the season, falling to

the Cardinals, 72-53.

The Lady Panthers used a 15-12 scoring spurt in the final quarter
