Flu vaccine offered at Health Fair Oct. 27

The Daviess County Health Department will begin flu immunizations at the Health Fair from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Daviess County Health Department will begin flu immunizations at the Health Fair from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 27 at the high school gymnasium in Gallatin.

Juniors and seniors participate in vocational testing and attend college day activities

Gallatin students in grades 11-12 were able to narrow their vocational interests and gain experience in test-taking by participating in the ASVAB test on Sept. 14. The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Test) is a highly esteemed vocational test used by various vocational schools and all military services for admission procedures.

Her journey led her to Daviess County recently, her mission simplified through the miracle of DNA evidence. Her father died in a Japanese prison camp June 20,1942, in the Philippines.
