Charles A. Harkness, 96, Lenexa, died Wednesday, April 19, 2000, at the Overland Park, Kan., hospital.

Private family graveside service and burial for Charles Harkness, formerly of Lake Viking, was held Saturday, April 22, 2000, at Fort Hays Memorial Gardens, Hays. Memorials may be made to the Lakeview Village Library Fund or Christ Lutheran Church.

Kathleen May Miller, 77, Gilman City, died Thursday, April 20, 2000, at a Bethany hospital.

Funeral services for Kathleen Miller, mother of Louise Bird of Gallatin, were held Monday, April 24, at the Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany. Burial was at Masonic Cemetery, Gilman City. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gilman City Cemetery Association in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, 64424.

Evelyn Bozarth

Evelyn Bozarth, 81, Pattonsburg, died Wednesday, April 19, 2000, at an area nursing home.

Funeral services for Evelyn Bozarth were held Saturday, April 22, at the Pattonsburg First Baptist Church. Burial was in Koger Cemetery, Pattonsburg. Arrangements were by Roberson Funeral Homes, Inc., Bethany. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, Pattonsburg, and may be left at the funeral home.
