Eagles dismantle state-ranked Bulldogs 55-42

The cramped confines of Bishop LeBlond High School gym continue to be a tough place for the Gallatin Bulldogs to grab a victory. The tough-at-home Golden Eagles unleashed a powerful, up-tempo transition offense and stifling zone defense to upset the Bulldogs, 55-42, Tuesday night in a likely preview of one of next week’s Class 2A, District 16 Tournament semifinal matchups.

DARE Lock-In

DARE Lock-In, sponsored by the Gilman City Police Department, will be held from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 25, 2000, at the Jamesport elementary school. About 40 DARE students from Gilman City, Coffey and Jamesport will be attending.

With a bevy of new fishing regulations slated to go into effect March 1, the Missouri Department of Conservation suggests that anglers get a copy of the 2000 Summary of Fishing Regulations and keep it handy throughout the fishing season.

Regulation changes that will apply statewide or affect large numbers of anglers include:
