The Winston R-VI Board of Education met Jan. 19.

The Winston R-VI Board of Education met Jan. 19. Board members present were Clyde Edwards, Gary Caldwell, Hope Becerra, Roger Barker, Wayne Uthe, and Chretta Mastin. Absent was Bob Clark.

The board heard appeals from eight students concerning absences. Six waivers were granted outright; two waivers were granted with contingencies of making up time.

Gallatin girls and boys basketball teams combine to out-score Braymer opponents.

Gallatin girls and boys basketball teams combined to outscore Braymer opponents, 48-5, in 3rd quarter action last Friday night. As a result, the Lady Bulldogs handed the Lady Bobcats their 4th consecutive loss by a 54-17 margin, while the Bulldogs produced a 61-44 come-from-behind victory.
