Pop talks to kids

Former Globetrotter Rodney “Pop” Wright talked to Gallatin students about drugs at a special assembly recently.

Rodney “Pop” Wright, formerly of the Harlem Globetrotters and the Baltimore Stars, spoke to Gallatin students about substance abuse last Thursday, Oct. 21, from a very unique perspective: his own.

A basketball standout at Drake University in Des Moines, Pop was also an alcoholic and drug addict.
