Jennifer Burke will marry Kirby Brent Egger in September.

Winston Church to be 125

A celebration is planned at the Winston United Methodist Church on Aug. 29 in observance of its 125th anniversary.

The Winston United Methodist Church will observe its 125th anniversary, Sunday, Aug. 29. The congregation was organized in 1874, the first church building was erected in 1876, and a larger church was built on the same site in 1923. The 1923 building is still in use although it has been remodeled

Seven cousins take to the skiis at Lake Viking.

This group of seven cousins, ranging in age from eight to 28, was inspired to attempt this skiing feat by viewing old home movies of their parents. Hulett joins clinic

Jennifer Pendleton Hulett, MSN, RN, CS, FNP, has joined the Pike Medical Clinic at Louisiana and Bowling Green.

Jennifer Pendleton Hulett, MSN, RN, CS, FNP, has joined Pike Medical Clinic, Inc. as a Family Nurse Practitioner. The clinic has two locations in Louisiana, Mo, and at Bowling Green.

Jennifer recently graduated from UM-C Sinclair School of Nursing with a Master of Science in Nursing specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Seaman Taul graduates from naval command

Navy Seaman Apprentice Shelly R. Taul has graduated from the College of Naval Command and Staff at the Naval War College in Newport, R.I.

Taul is a radioman with the Information Technology Center in Newport, R.I. She is the daughter of Cathy and Alan Maddox of Gallatin and Donald K. Taul of St. Joseph. The seaman is a 1998 graduate of Gallatin High School.
