National Farm Bureau President says that while the stock market may be booming, America’s farm area is in an economic state of “bust.”

The stock market is booming, and millions of Americans are financially healthy, riding the wave of today’s prosperous economy. In the 1990s, the U.S. economy grew about 5.1 percent annually, from $5.4 trillion in 1989 to an expected $9 trillion in 1999.
