Stanford earns English scholarship

Funeral services for Carl Schwab were held at 1:30 p.m. today (Wednesday), May 26, at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe. Burial was in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe. Popplewell wed 50 years

Kenneth and Betty (Parks) Popplewell of Albany will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an Open House from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, May 30, at the Albany Community Center. They were married in Albany on May 31, 1949. The Popplewells have lived in the McFall, Lathrop and Albany areas most of their married life. Kenneth is retired from Ford Motor Company.

Carl (Gene) and Barbara Landes to observe 40th anniversary

Monica Frazier has graduated at UMKC with double major.

Monica Frazier graduated with the 1999 class at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. She earned a bachelor degree with a double major in psychology and sociology.
